POWER RULES
How to Play
- Participants must register to play in the contest.
- Participants must be registered Tech Data IBM Power Systems Business Partners.
- Participants earn points for completing any of the below-listed activities to reach a total score.
- Starred (*) activities must be reported to Bob Friske at [email protected] with proof of completion to receive points.
- Top score wins the Power contest.
- Year-over-year quarterly growth percentage will be used to determine a tiebreaker winner.
How to Earn Points
- Attainment
- IBM Competencies Specialist and Expert Partners must attain or exceed their quarterly memo target.
- IBM PGI Partners must attain or exceed a 10% year-over-year growth target.

- Tech Data Webinars: Quarterly Partner Webinars (live or on-demand)
- Tech Data Classes / Workshops (live or on-demand)

SERVICE RULES
How to Play
- Primary Criteria: Grow your IBM TSS services business year-over-year (100% or more of Performance Rewards year to date from 2021).
- Secondary Criteria: Proactive Support Attach Rate growth year-over-year. (Proactive Support attached to Power or Storage)
- Tie Breaker: Highest percentage of Proactive Attach
STORAGE RULESHow to Play
- Participants must opt-in to the contest by Dec. 1, 2021.
- Participants must have an IBM assigned Q3 and Q4 Storage target. Targets have been established for most Partners. For those that do not have a target, we will take your company’s 2020 performance, add a 2021 growth rate of 6%, and divide by 4. Minimum targets will be set at $100,000.
- Earn 10 points or more for completing each of the Q3/Q4 activities mentioned below to reach a total score.
- Starred (*) activities must be reported by the partner to [email protected] with some type of proof of completion in order to receive points.
- Total scores are used to determine the quarterly winner.
- Top score wins contest. There will be 2 winners per quarter for the Storage category.
- Target must be accomplished to qualify and then points achieved in a quarter.
Four Categories of Activities/Accomplishments
- Attainment
- Opted-in Partner must attain or exceed the quarterly IBM targets to be eligible to compete.
- Achievement of 150% of target achieves 30 points.
- Build Your Skills
- * Attend an IBM Storage event, storage webinar (live or replay), attend the Storage Roadshow, Tech Data Storage Webinars. *
- * Achieve a Credential Badge for IBM Storage. *
- Build Your Pipeline
- * Host an EU Storage seminar or event or execute a demand generation activity.*
- Participate in a Tech Data demand generation activity.
- Strategic Product Focus
- Flash System Sales (FS5000, 7200 or 9200) in Q3 or Q4.
- FlashSystems Sales with Safeguarded Copy.
