POWER RULES

How to Play

  1. Participants must register to play in the contest.
  2. Participants must be registered Tech Data IBM Power Systems Business Partners.
  3. Participants earn points for completing any of the below-listed activities to reach a total score.
  4. Starred (*) activities must be reported to Bob Friske at [email protected] with proof of completion to receive points.
  5. Top score wins the Power contest.
  6. Year-over-year quarterly growth percentage will be used to determine a tiebreaker winner.


How to Earn Points

  1. Attainment
    • IBM Competencies Specialist and Expert Partners must attain or exceed their quarterly memo target.
    • IBM PGI Partners must attain or exceed a 10% year-over-year growth target.
  2. Build Your Skills
    • Participate in Tech Data Enablement Events - 5 points each
      1. Tech Data Webinars: Quarterly Partner Webinars (live or on-demand)
      2. Tech Data Classes / Workshops (live or on-demand)
      3. Tech Data Events (virtual or in-person)
    • Participate in IBM Enablement Events - 5 points each *
      1. IBM Classes (live or on-demand) *
      2. IBM Event (virtual or in-person) *
      3. Participate in an Industry Event or Conference (virtual or in-person) *
  3. Build Your Pipeline
    • OI Campaigns and Events *
      1. Any OI Campaign for Power - 5 points maximum *
      2. Hybrid Cloud OI Campaign for Power (Dynamic Capacity or Power Virtual Server) - 10 points *
      3. Any OI Customer Event for Power - 5 points *
      4. Hybrid Cloud Customer Event for Power (Dynamic Capacity or Power Virtual Server) - 10 points *

SERVICE RULES

How to Play
  1. Primary Criteria: Grow your IBM TSS services business year-over-year (100% or more of Performance Rewards year to date from 2021).
  2. Secondary Criteria: Proactive Support Attach Rate growth year-over-year. (Proactive Support attached to Power or Storage)
  3. Tie Breaker: Highest percentage of Proactive Attach

STORAGE RULES

How to Play
  1. Participants must register to play in the contest.
  2. Participants must have an IBM assigned Q3 Storage target. Targets have been established for most partners. For those that do not have a target, we will take your 2019 performance, add a 2021 growth rate of 6%, and divide by 4. Minimum targets will be set at $100,000.
  3. Storage target must be met to qualify for points in the quarterly incentive.
  4. Earn 10 points (or more) for completing each of the Q2 activities mentioned below to reach a total score.
  5. Starred (*) activities must be reported to [email protected] or [email protected] with proof of completion to attain points.
  6. Total scores are used to determine the quarterly winner.
  7. Top score wins contest. There will be 2 winners per quarter for Storage.

How to Earn Points
  1. Attainment
    • Opted-in Partner must attain or exceed the quarterly to be eligible to compete.
    • Achievement of 150% of target - 30 points
  2. Build Your Skills *
    • Attend an IBM Storage event, storage webinar (live or on-demand), attend the Storage Roadshow, Tech Data Storage Webinars. *
    • Achieve a Credential Badge for IBM Storage. *
  3. Build Your Pipeline
    • Host an end user storage seminar (or execute a similar demand generation activity) *
    • Participate in a Tech Data demand generation activity.
  4. Strategic Product Focus
    • Flash System Sales (FS5000, 7200 or 9200) in Q3
    • FlashSystems Sales with Safeguarded Copy
